Refusing to confine himself to one style, he captures poignant, light-filled scenes with masterful use of color, appealing to a wide range of collectors. Since the early 1980s, his shows have consistently sold out nationwide, and his award-winning work is held in private, corporate, and university collections worldwide. A family-oriented man whose positivity infuses his art, Pabst has been featured in publications such as American Art Collector, Southwest Art, and Art of the West, and is the subject of the book Reflections: The Life and Career of Charles H. Pabst.

Born in Germany in 1956, Manfred Rapp began drawing at age four and launched his career as a graphic artist in his teens, creating posters for artists like Diana Ross and Phil Collins. Inspired by museum travels across Europe, he pursued painting and earned a Master’s Degree in Fine Art from the Art Academy of Konstanz under Czech professor Karel Hodr. Blending Impressionism with classical glazing techniques, Rapp creates luminous still lifes, landscapes, and street scenes. A 2003 Artist-in-Residence in Hungary, his work has since been exhibited internationally and is widely collected. He has lived in New Mexico for the past 15 years and continues to travel for inspiration.
