“The photographic work of husband-and-wife duo JoAnn Carney and William Drake was exhibited together at Pasqual’s Gallery in Santa Fe. Carney’s “What Remains, Changes” explored the fluidity of memory, presenting intimate, reflective images in a Film Noir style, while Drake’s “Dreaming Varanasi”, captured the mystical essence of the sacred Indian city through vibrant, dreamlike scenes. For the past 25 years, JoAnn and William have lived part-time in New Mexico, But wherever they are, he is always her muse.
